chanel les 4 ombres 5

Today is a bit of a cheat because Swatchorama is normally on a Sunday because it makes a lot more sense, no? But I really wanted to share some swatches of Chanel‘s new Les 4 Ombres. It’s exciting, new and oh so good! Chanel decided to reformulate their Les 4 Ombres quads and I am very grateful for that decision. It’s improved and so much better than the old formula in my opinion although I don’t have tons of experience with the old baked formula in all honesty. The new quads come in 8 shade variations and go for 50 euros. While the old quads contained 1.2 g the new contain 2 g. The packaging remained the same but the eye shadows temselves are definitely different. The talc is gone and they added glycerin and squalane to the ingredient list.

Finishes vary from satin to metallic. The eye shadows feel very smooth and even a touch creamy. Compared to the old formula it’s a big improvement when it comes to colour pay-off, the colours glide effortlessly onto the skin and blend out easily. I’m incredibly happy with the new formula and I urge you to go and take a look at the counters!

We’re also seeing 3 mascaras in the Le Volume De Chanel Waterproof version and 4 Stylo Yeux Waterproof eyeliner pencils.

I’ll give you a little preview of what’s coming, enjoy!
