favourites of may

Hey guys! Did we all have a great weekend or what? It feels like summer here, sunshine, a lot of green and yummy BBQ! I enjyed the company of my family for a bit but I mostly had to plan about our house. I’ve got my hands full with this! Suddenly I have to decide on details like what colour, what shape, what size, what kind of material, it’s sometimes a bit nerve wrecking, lol! But okay, let’s get to the point here. I thought it was a good time to do a favourites post since it has been a few months ago. I’m currently on a blush craze and I’ve been loving one brand in particular lately, can you guess which one?

favourites of may quad

Let’s start with my absolute favourite eye shadow quad for this summer: Mac Bare My Soul! It has every colour that I want to wear with great warm weather like this and I can’t get enough of the pretty green duochrome! And yes, you can see two eye shadow brushes from Real Techniques: the base shadow brush and the deluxe crease brush. The base shadow brush is a great blending brush, I actually prefer the shape to the Mac 217. Why? Because it’s slightly more tapered, great for people with smaller eyelids. The deluxe crease brush is another gem, it pretty big for an eyeshadow brush, and the shape is round. I especially love it for applying concealer and highlighter. It’s very precise and I like the density of the brush. It would be great if they were sold separately!

favourites may skincare

Some skincare now! I’m pretty sure you’ve read about the new Caudalie Divine Legs now and I am really loving it for my legs. I’m the type of girl that mostly wears pants, so my legs are really pale! A layer of this product really does the trick, I don’t look like I have two weirdly pale legs anymore, lol! The Estee Lauder Daywear SPF 50 has become my daily go-to moisturiser, it works so great on the skin and I really love that fresh scent of cucumbers as well, it’s a big plus! Last we have the Caudalie S.O.S. Morning Eye Rescue, I’ve been meaning to write a review on it soon because this is good stuff!

favourites may high end

Some coral infusion for you! I think I’ve been wearing these the most lately. First we see Guerlain Rouge Automatique in Nahema. This is such a great coral, it pulls a bit pink on me but I love it as an everyday lip shade, it’s easy and goes with a lot of summery looks. Next we have Chanel’s Lilis, also a great coral shade for the nails. It’s great, if you want a nice coral nail polish, consider this one! Then we have my special case here: the Dior Paradise Duo in Coral Glow. It’s my first ever bronzer and it’s amazing. Period.

favourites may rouge bunny rouge

Favourite brand of the month? Rouge Bunny Rouge! First we see their newest fragrance ‘Incantation‘. Rouge Bunny Rouge sprayed some of this on a package I received and it was love on first sight. I just needed to sample this! The scent is interesting and oh so amazing! It has notes of  green tea and orange blossom and much more. On me it transforms into such a delicate gorgeous scent and I love how you can smell the green tea all the time. My favourite eyeshadow is definitely Delicate Hummingbird. It’s so pretty, interesting and the fact that it’s purple makes me love it even more! Lastly we have the Original Skin Blush in Orpheline and I must say that this might be one of the softest blushes I’ve ever had! Once you tried it your view will change on blushes!

That’s it guys! My most used/favoured products of last month. Let’s make June a nice one!

  1. Loooooove the Dior Paradise Duo in Coral Glow! Ik moet dringend eens een beauty-budget aan de kant zetten en spaarplannen opstellen voor dit soort dingen :)

  2. that dior duo looks amazing, how is the consistency of the powder and the colour pay-off? thanks for sharing!

    • It’s a great powder! I love how the pigmentation is really there without being too much. The bronzer part is perfect because the colour is definitely not orange. And the best part is that you can mix an match it like you want! So yes, really nice finely milled powder with a nice pigmentation level. :)

  3. lovely lovely and I Love mac and channel ones..

  4. The Dior Coral blush/bronzer makes my heart skip a beat, it’s so gorgeous. I’m dying to try some more RBR, especially the blush. I’ve been wearing my Edward Bess Summer in Capri Palette often as I’m back on NARS TM.
