my bathroom products

So what’s hanging around in my bathroom? Well, a lot actually, waaay too much. Before this little girl decided to venture into the world of beauty blogging, my bathroom was actually kinda decent, heck I’d say it was close to normal. But now it kinda went all crazy on me. One of the perks of being in the beauty blogging business is receiving tons of products for your body and your hair. Last time I checked I only have one body and one head so it takes aaages before I use up a product. My boyfriend is not really happy with the whole trend going on there because my products kinda took over anything that still had some room. So what did he do? He drew a clear line between his and my products! Every time I accidentally cross that line he starts giving me a never ending lecture about it, ugh! But oh well, I guess he has a point somewhere. I don’t want it to end up in our bed or random places like that!

I always alternate between things, so some stuff ends up back in the archives and some stuff get taken out to be tested. This is mostly to prevent an overload on stuff in the shower because of obvious reasons. Products that most likely stay the same are face products, my skin is mostly just too picky! Today I’m showing you what’s in my bedroom, so that excludes most skincare and things like body and hand creams.

l'oreal and philosophy

I’ll start with two of my long time favourites: the Philosophy shower gel in Melon Daiquiri and L’oreal Elseve Arginine Resist. Melon Daiquiri is something that I received a while ago but as you can see it’s still going strong! The scent is just heavenly! Think juicy cocktails on the beach! Arginine Resist is one of the very few hair conditioners without silicones that you can find in the supermarket. My hair does not like silicone so this is my saviour!

l'oreal mythic oil

Next up is the L’oreal Mythic Oil range. I have the shampoo, conditioner and the hair mask. This range is amazing for those with very dry hair because this conditions like no other! I also really love the packaging, see those pumps? I wished more hair products came like that because that is just neat!

bumble and bumble hair

Here we see two cute travel sized bottles of the bumble&bumble thickening shampoo and conditioner. I also have the blow dry spray and adore that one too! This range is great if you want more volume. The formula of both is very light and I think that’s the main reason why I get so much volume after using them. They are my go-to if I’m going somewhere and I want some ‘big’ sexy hair (in my dreams!).

kerastase 2

Say whaaaat? More hair products? Yeah I think this are the last ones! My current favourite line is the Kérastase Elixir Ultime shampoo and hair mask. As far as I can see it doesn’t contain any silicones which is a big yay for me! It’s not as deeply moisturising as the L’oreal Mythic Oil line because it lacks the silicones but it works really well on my hair. My favourite part is that it conditions the hair without weighing it down.

paulas choice and philosophy

On to the skin care part! Here you see a mini version of Philosophy’s Microdelivery Exfoliating Face wash. It’s basically a face wash with tiny beads. I usually go for chemical exfoliators but this one is actually really gentle. I use it when my face is really extra grubby to speed things up a bit. And that big-ass bottle you see there is my bottle of Paula’s Choice Moisture Boost Facial Cleanser. I ordered a bottle extra big and it’s still rocking on like there is no end to it! I use this every day on my face but it’s also great for washing my brushes, especially the extra dirty ones!

bathroom face products

Almost there guys! Some time, aaages ago I bought this bottle of Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant. I’m sure you all know that it cost me some penny because the brand is not cheap here. I used it but kind of forgot about it. The main reason was because I was using it wrong. It’s an interesting product because it comes as a powder and you kinda make it wet and apply it on your face. My biggest issue is the powder in the bottle. You can’t take it with you in the shower and you have to be careful to not wet it because else everything is ruined. But I’m going to give it another try. Next to that we have the very famous Bioderma Sensibio H2O. I’m sure we all know it’s the most awesome thing ever! It’s basically the superman of all make-up removers (oil ones not included ofcourse!). And then we have my pretty pink bottle of Sampar Hydrating Mist. This is my favourite for warmer days. It’s an instant spritz refreshment on the face, aaaah!

what's in my bathroom

And that’s what’s mostly in my bathroom at this very moment! Well I also have toothpaste but I’m sure that’s not really that interesting, lol! Now that I think of it, I actually have a whole lot more of body gels but they are currently stored because it was just too much. I will be definitely squeaky clean when there is a zombie apocalypse because I got that part covered, lol!
