The positive and very fun thing that comes with beauty blogging is having the chance to go to various events. Yesterday I got invited to The Body Shop event here in Antwerp. They hosted it at Flamant Dining, a very charming a nice place. The Body Shop is launching ‘Beauty With A Heart’ , a new concept to approach costumers. It’s more than just beauty, more than meets the eye, it’s also about feeling good and doing good!
So their slogan is Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good. It translates into fine quality products with nice and rich textures. It also translates into campaigns for the environment and animals. All this comes back in the ‘Pulse’ concept. This means that the The Body Shops will have a slight change in appearance. It’s a place where you can go experience lovely natural products and where you can get involved in some very inspiring campaigns. Lily Cole is the face of all this and there will be a collection out soon too! I personally think it’s a wonderful idea and am really looking forward to experience it myself!
I took a lot of snapshots of just the most random things. The event was really well done. You had hand massages where they introduced you to their products, you got a lot of information about their products and their campaigns and in the other room there was a place for all thing make-up. You could do a make-over with all things by The Body Shop and I got a brief moment to get to know Chase Aston, an international make-up artist who works together and inspires The Body Shop. He was so kind to give me some customised shimmer cubes, like wow!
I also took some pictures of the upcoming Lily Cole LE, it’s pink and it’s cute, are you sold yet? I am! Really looking forward to this collection, they did a great job on the appeal if you ask me!

I had a great time being there and I love the new products already! They launched a series of little hand sanitisers with various smells like strawberry, coconut, mango and so on. The good thing is that they really smell fresh and not like alcohol like some do. The Body Shop also has the Beautifying Oil, this is a dry oil that can be used on the face, the body and your hair. They also come in various smells.
Last but definitely not least are the body butters, they all got a bit updated with a new picture on their packaging. I’m sure you all know their body butters, I think it’s one of their best sellers. I already got one home and they are very rich in texture, so it’s perfect for dry skin, a thing I have when it’s winter here.
Hope you liked the post, it was so fun to see all the people there, you really meet the nicest ones out there who share a common passion with you and that’s what I really love about blogging! I will do a post in the future about my experiences with the products, but I love it already!
