It’s not very clear to me how the availability is of Revlon in Belgium. In Antwerp it’s sold at Inno and Planet Parfum but I heard some rumours that not all Innos sell Revlon. I really wished they were more available here because the brand really has some nice products with a decent price tag.
Revlon Super Lustrous lipglosses comes in a clear plastic tube with a black cap. The applicator is doe footed and is really easy to work with. It also picks up a decent amount of product. I really love their packaging, it looks really sleek.
Coral Reef is one of my favourite lipgloss shades to wear in the summer. It looks like a bright coral with a rather strong orange tint to it. The texture is a little bit sticky, but just slightly. If you put too much lip gloss on your lips, it tends to settle a bit in the lines, so be a bit careful with that. The coral tint looks very wearable on the lips, it gives them a nice coral sheen without being too overpowering. It gives a nice colour pay off, but this is not the kind of gloss that goes on super opaque. The gloss feels very comfortable on the lips, they are one of my favourite lip gloss formulas. The staying power is average, around two to three hours before it fades away.
The Lip glosses have a slight vanilla scent to them, but that fades away very quickly. They don’t have any taste (or none that I noticed). Coral Reef has an SPF 15. I can’t find any info on the packaging of how much product the lip gloss contains, but my guess is around 5 to 6 ml (the average gloss is around 5 ml). They go for around 8 euro.
Overall I really love these glosses, the big plus is that they feel really light and comfortable on the lips. Nevertheless, if you find 8 euro a bit too much for a lipgloss, Catrice has some excellent lipglosses too! Yes you can say I’m a bit of a Catrice fan girl ;).
