Mac came out this weekend with yet another collection, this time the Too Supreme collection. This collection consists out of 11 shades of Sheen Supreme lipglasses in a click-pen applicator and 13 Sheen Supreme lipsticks. The Sheen Supreme lipsticks shades are mostly repromotes except for Zen Rose. Today I am reviewing 3 shades of the Mac Sheen Supreme collection, one is not repromoted in the Too Supreme collection, but is in the permanent collection.

The Sheen Supreme lipsticks are my favourite lipsticks from Mac, because they have a great texture and just really feel great on the lips. They feel moisturising and give the lips a pretty shiny opaque coverage. The Sheen Supreme lipsticks are packaged in a black bullet and that’s the only ‘negative’ point, you can’t directly see what shade you are looking for (that’s the case with all Mac lipsticks). The packaging is very sturdy and sleek-looking and the lipsticks go for 18 euro. They come in a creamy or frosty finish and are all slightly vanilla scented. The wear time is around 3-4 hours, which is average for a lipstick. They survive some drinks, but after a big meal they are mostly gone on my lips.
Bare Again is one of my only and favourite nudes. The colour is very close to my own natural lip colour and looks great on me without washing me out. It’s a medium neutral tone beige with a hint of pinkness to it. It has a creamy finish and due to the pinkness it doesn’t looks like you’re having corpse lips going on. I really recommend looking at this shade because it’s really the perfect natural shade!
Ultra Darling is the lipstick that’s not repromoted in the Too Supreme collection. Nevertheless I’m going to review it because this is one of my favourite lipsticks. It is a warm medium pink with a hint of coral to it. This was the perfect shade for me to go from neutral lipsticks to more colourful ones, because despite the colour, it is very wearable without being too bright. It’s great if you want to try on some colour on your lips!
Zen Rose is the only completely new shade of the lipstick range. It’s a cool but almost neutral bright pink leaning to purple. This is (for me) quite a full on bright shade, but I love it! It’s a shade that suits a lot of skin tones and it really brightens up your face. The finish is creamy and this shade wears for a full six hours (without eating) because it’s darker than the previous shades. I absolutely love the purple tint in this shade. It’s not very clear if Zen Rose is going to be part of the permanent range, I asked and they didn’t know so I have to look into it.
Overall I really do recommend taking a look at these lipsticks, especially for people with dry lips because this feels so nice and not drying at all. They are so buttery and go on very smooth without a lot of work and they deliver a great colour too, what’s not more to love?
