Are you ready for part two? It involves an awesome lipstick and a very pretty blush! I almost got the whole collection and I really love it. Let’s see about the other products!
Explosive Combination is the other eye shadow palette. It’s basically three shades of brown with a pop of colour. The colour on the left is a bright orange with silver shimmers. The colour is very buildable, but pigmented enough to work with. the shade next to it is a pale cool toned dirty golden brown , it has also fine shimmers in it and the finish is slightly frost. It goes on very smoothly and well pigmented. Under the bright orange shade there is a warm medium brown with copper tones in it. This finish is almost metallic-like. It’s a bit less pigmented and smooth than the frosty shade, but it goes on without any problems. Next to it there is a dark cool toned brown which serves as a cake liner. If you wet your brush and dip it into the liner, you create a creamy consistency. It’s goes on very well and it lasts! Explosive Combination is a little more pigmented than Toxic Combination. I love both palettes and to be honest I can’t really choose between the two. The eye shadow palettes goes for 4.49 euro.
Next up is the gorgeous Ombre blush Colour Bomb (yes, a lot of the products in this collection have the same name, confusing, right?). It’s packaged in a clear case with the pretty baroque details on it. Colour bomb is a warm peachy shade going from a pale peachy shade to a deep darker peach. It contains very fine shimmers. I was a bit afraid that this wouldn’t be very pigmented, but it surprised me. It really goes on very nice pigmented and it looks like a medium warm glowing peach shade on me. This blush has a smell though, I didn’t expected that. It’s not horrible, but it’s definitely not my favourite too. Luckily you don’t really smell it unless you get your nose up there. The blush contains 8 grams of product and goes for 3.99 euro which is a steal in my opinion! I actually start to regret that I don’t bought a back-up.
I wasn’t palnning to buy the lipstick in Bloody Red (awesome name btw) but I thought, why not, it’s just a couple of euros. I can tell you that I didn’t regretted it later! Bloody Red is a deep dark very vampy shade. The finish is mat, but it has a slight satin finish to it. If you like red lipsticks you really need this, because this is not the average red lipstick. It screams boldness, sexiness and daring to me. I have to admit that I was a bit scared of the colour but once I applied it I fell in love. On my lips it looks a bit warmer because of my skin tone and you can build it up nicely. You can go all the way or you can sheer it out. It goes on so smoothly and pigmented and it stays on like forever! Another important thing is that it really feels good on the lips, it might feel a tad drier than the Colour Bomb but it’s still very comfortable. The lipsticks go for 3.99 euro.
Then we have another couple of nailpolishes. They both contain 10 ml and go for 2.49 euro. The brush is a bit thinner than the normal Catrice nailpolishes, but they are still easy to use.
Attrackting Camouflage is quite a unique colour. It’s a dirty brown beige with a silver/blue sheen to it. It was really tricky to catch it on camera because the shade is really special. The finish is frosty and it went on sheer. I was a little bit scared that this shade would go on very streaky, but it actually went on very nice. The shade however was a bit sheer so I needed three layers for an opaque finish. This was one of the colours I really was curious about and it didn’t disappoint. I really like the silver hue, it makes it really interesting and unique.
Mission Liliac is a deep pink with hints of berry in it. The finish is creamy without any glitters or shimmers. It went on nicely pigmented and I needed two coats for a even coverage. The colour reminded me a bit of Catrice ‘Wrapped around my Finger’. I compared them, and they are very close bit ‘Mission Lilac’ is slightly brighter. The colour is really a little bit more intense and that makes me loving it more than ‘Wrapped around my Finger’. It’s one of my favourite shades of this collection because it looks very sophisticated and chic to me.
So my overall opinion on this collection is very positive. I loved every bit of it. The big star of the collection for me are the lipsticks, they really are amazing! If you have the chance to swatch them, go and try! I promise you that you won’t be disappointed! The blush is great as well, but I’m a lipstick girl, I can’t help it!
I alsmo made another quick look playing with ‘Explosive Combination’ on my eyes. I used the light brown colour on the inner half of my eye lids, the bright orange on the outer half and the copper brown in my crease. I used the liner on the upper line and under my eyes too. On my cheeks I’m wearing the Colour Bomb blush and on my lips the amazing ‘Bloody Red’ lipstick. On my nails I’m wearing ‘Mission Lilac’. I hope you liked it!
