After looking at them, contemplating and looking again I finally caved in and bought my first OPI nail polish. They have a lovely range of colours, but the price is what scared me away until now. I’m only an upcoming nail polish addict and prices such as 13 euro and beyond are just something I still need to get used to.
OPI nailpolishes come in a 15 ml bottle and are around 13-14 euro. I purchased mine at Planet Parfum, they have a good selection of OPI nail polishes. They also often bring out Limited Editions. The bottle is rounded and quite big and the nail polish comes with the classic nail polish brush. The consistency is perfect, it’s not too watery nor too thick. I needed two layers for a good coverage, three for maximal effect. The first layer was very sheer. The dry time was a bit longer than average in my experience, but not too long.
OPI Ink is a very gorgeous shade, it has a blackened purple base with tiny little glass flecks. The little flecks are pretty and they flash deep blue and purple. The colour depends on the light and angle. This is definitely not a boring colour!
I’m madly in love with this colour, I just can’t stop looking at it! The wear time however was a bit disappointing. The nail polish showed minor tip wear on the first day, now I’m on day three and it started chipping on my thumb nail, not a large chunk, but still I expected a bit more of the formula. But I guess it’s all solved with a good top coat! So overall, great gorgeous shade but the formula could be better.

Prachtige kleur! Jammer dat OPI zo prijzig is. Ik heb vorige zomer OPI-naggellak voor 5 euro per flesje gekocht. In Leuven tijdens ‘ de langste dag’ is er een soort braderie waar alle winkels een kraampje met solden buiten hebben staan.
Wauw, dan heb je toch je slag geslagen zeker!

De kleur is prachtig! Ik heb minder last van snelle tipwear bij OPI, ik heb dat dan weer heel snel bij Chanel.
Het ligt mss aan de kleur, of anders had ik gewoon pech. Maar de kleur is het wel waard

Hij is prachtig!! De kwaliteit en houdbaarheid van OPI lakjes is zo ontzettend goed. Dat is niet vergelijkbaar met Catrice/Essence. OPI vind ik echt de Rolls Royce onder de nagellak al ben ik zelf ook fan van de budgetlakjes
Het is idd anders, maar goedkopere lakjes zijn dan weer heel handig om te testen of je bepaalde kleuren wel of niet leuk vindt
